Deshawn Fentress

Deshawn is a dedicated and results-driven professional with a passion for mentorship, community development, and leadership. A graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Management Information Systems, he began his career in 2013 as a Project Manager at NorthEast Electric, where his impact was immediately felt. Deshawn’s leadership skills quickly earned him several promotions, and he became a key member of the Sonepar Junior Committee, a global program that enhanced his cultural competence through international exposure.

For 12 years, Deshawn also served as the Head Wrestling Coach at Brockton High School, where he mentored student-athletes and instilled the values of discipline and perseverance. Outside of his professional life, Deshawn is deeply committed to supporting his community, particularly the youth, by serving on boards and creating nonprofits to fill gaps in services.

He also founded the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team at NorthEast Electric and plays an active role in the company's African American Employee Resource Group. Known for his passion, teamwork, and charisma, Deshawn is recognized by peers and leaders alike for his exceptional leadership qualities.
